I’m Trina!

I have been married for 33 years and we have 4 amazing children & 8 grandchildren in which we love tremendously.  We raised our children in Leander, Texas.  We relocated to East Texas 15 years ago with a new work opportunity for my husband.  Five 5 years ago after a family camping trip we had decided to retire in Whitney.  I have been in the preschool industry for 30 + years.  I began my journey teaching early education when I opened my home as a Licensed Registered home to meet the needs of my community. 

I homeschooled my children for a couple of years to lay down a strong foundation in Christ to train, teach & guide them in the Lord so they will be better equipped for school & life.  I have experience in teaching preschool children of all ages, teaching in the elementary & middle school, teaching Sunday school, Children’s Ministry Director & taught preschool computer classes.  

I was very unsatisfied with the quality of care & early education I experienced as a preschool teacher in the daycare industry.  As I continued to pray & pursue God for answers, He filled my heart with a passion to pursue Directing a preschool as my first door opened. I have earned a great report with Childcare Licensing throughout my years of directing. I have had the privilege & honor to lead several teams of early educators to pursue excellency together as we became a 4 Star Rating Preschool with the Texas Workforce Solutions & as a Texas Kindergarten Readiness Program. 

I believe these precious years is very important for every child to lay down a strong foundation is biblical truths, early education, character building, love, respect & manners in their lives that cannot be shaken and will enable them to press forward in all circumstances with a thankful heart. God has entrusted each parent for a short time to love, care & teach each child in the way they should go. I want you to feel very good about leaving your children in the hands of each teacher as you bring them every day with the peace of mind that your child will be loved & cared for while learning.  My door is always open!
